Being cringe is not bad. Often times things are labeled cringe because someone simply doesn’t understand it, or, even worse, it comes from a place of insecurity. A need to be “better than” others and thus demean the “bad thing” to try and lift themselves up. I wholeheartedly disagree with that. Usually “cringe” things are just harmless activities that make someone happy, enriching their lives with joy. I believe in doing what makes you happy. Being weird and happy is so much better than trying to be cool and staying miserable. Sticking to the status quo is more cringe than being brave enough to go against it. Throw away the notion of staying acceptable and follow your dreams! Hang this print up in your happy place, like a dorm, office, or craft room, as a reminder: “It’s never cringe to believe in yourself!”
